Gallery tour

Embark on a journey to rediscover Africa at MAMA. Learn about the diverse African cultures and histories illustrated through art. Our knowledgeable staff members are well-versed in African culture, history, and art, ensuring an enriching experience. Each tour is crafted to provide insights and spark curiosity about the stories behind the art.

African Stories, Art & Clay

Unleash your creativity with our hands-on workshops! From traditional African storytelling to painting, drawing, and clay/pottery sessions, there’s a medium for every artist. These workshops are designed for all ages and skill levels, providing a fun and engaging way to connect with African art and culture. 

Literacy program

MAMA’s reading program aims to promote healthy and successful children and families through reading. We host African-themed reading sessions that shed light on African culture. Kids will also have the chance to learn African drumming and dancing during the sessions.
